- Walls spot-checked for marks or scuffs
Throughout the Home
- Baseboards in every hallway and common area

- Interior of every closet, including hallway and linen closets
- Handrails
- Smoke detectors dusted
- Entryway or foyer
Laundry & Utility Areas
- Inside the washer, including the door seal
- Dryer, including the lint trap
- Behind and around laundry appliances, if they move
- Utility sink, if there is one
- Shelving in the laundry area
Final Walkthrough
- Garage swept, if applicable
- Balcony or patio swept
- Light bulbs checked, replaced if burnt out
- All personal items and trash removed
- A final walkthrough of every room for anything missed
- Keys, garage remotes, and any access cards or fobs ready to hand over
- Photos taken of every room, in case there's ever a dispute over condition
